"Froot" is a single released by Marina Diamandis, the song was released on on 10 October 2014, to coincide with the singer's birthday. it was then later released as the lead single of her third studio album "FROOT". the video was released on her youtube channel on 11 november 2014.

The video is all about Diamandis and every outfit she wears highlights this, because she looks like she stepped right out of the lighting is unnatural and is always coloured effect, but simultaneously keeping with darker tones. the story of the song is of nature not giving anyone anything, nothing is deserved. the music video depicts marina in a relationship with an older man, and the luxuries she gets from it. The video is a rather simple one but Marina looks stunning throughout. She rocks old Hollywood-inspired dresses and makeup, In classic 80s style, the video jumps to Diamandis in a gold outfit, singing and dancing with a set of back up dancers. Her pineapple earrings give the video a connection to the studio album. 

the depiction of the male is quite objectifying of the male, as he never moves throughout the video and his face is dimly light so we cant properly see his face. This is a deliberate act to divert the attention away from him and focus it on marina. The lighting in the shot is directed towards her face, illuminating her face directs the focus on her a she is the star of the video. they embrace each other which implies a relationship
